About Tom Brosnahan

I've been a writer since 1967, a photographer since 1980, and an online developer since 1993. In 1994, my Travel Info Exchange, a Computer Bulletin Board Service (CBBS), won the Gold Medal for Electronic Media in the Society of American Travel Writers' Lowell Thomas Awards.

After authoring travel guidebooks for 34 years, I wrote, photographed, designed and programmed my first travel-guide website, TurkeyTravelPlanner.com, which went online in 2002 and later guided over four million travelers from 230+ countries annually. FranceTravelPlanner.com, NewEnglandTravelPlanner.com, VeniceTravelPlanner.com (for Venice, Florida), and other travel websites followed.

My humorous travel memoir, Turkey: Bright Sun, Strong Tea was published in Istanbul in 2004, and in Concord MA in 2005. My novels followed: Istanbul Love Bus in 2011, Paris Girls Secret Society in 2017, and Serene - a novel of the Belle Époque in 2022. The next one, set on a Greek island, is in the works.
